We had my daughter's 1st birthday party over the weekend. We had our family and some of our friends over to celebrate our little one's bday. I made cupcakes for the occasion because that was her theme. Then I made candy lollipops. It was all a great success she looked adorable in her outfit I made her. I still can't believe she is already one. Thanks to everyone who made it. Now I get to take a breather and relax for a little bit before my next project. Till next time ;). Enjoy the pictures below.

My neices 2nd Birthday
So my niece turned 2 last week. Her and my daughter are exactly one year and 5 days apart. Her party was princess themed. So I made her a castle cake along with her outfit. The icing and I had some disagreements, but I was happy with the outcome it came out cute for my first time making this cake. My daughter turned 1 yesterday and while I was sad most of the day because she is no longer a baby. I am truly blessed too have two of the greatest kiddos around. This year has literally flown by. I count my blessings every day. Here are some pictures of her cake and her blowing out her cake in her adorable outfit. Enjoy! :)

Second Post Look at Me Go!!
Well here I go with my second post amazingly enough. So over the weekend we celebrated my grandmother's 87th Birthday. I wanted to try something that I hadn't done before. So after looking online I decided I wanted to make her a purse cake. So originally I had covered the cake in fondant but after looking at it the next morning I was not happy with it so I took the fondant off and my husband and I redecorated it. It came out much better with just buttercream icing. I finally got to use this very neat Wilton Decorating Kit my parents had given me for Christmas it was alot easier than using the icing bags and not as messy either. Here are couple of photos of the cake. I think I will try a differnet way next time but had a great time making it for my grandmother and was happy to celebrate her birthday with her. Enjoy the photos.
